Smoke Detectors

In NSW you are required to have a compliant smoke detector in your residence.
All our smoke detectors are BCA compliant (building code of Australia), including the Brooks RadioLink wireless sensors.

To comply in NSW, you MUST have at least one smoke detector per level of your house.
You MUST also have a smoke detector between any sleeping areas and any common living areas of your house. If you have 2 or more sleeping areas on ONE level of your house, you may need 2 smoke detectors to comply.
